Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end QA architecture, quality roadmap, standards, governance, and release-readiness processes.
- Design scalable quality strategies for distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and data-driven platforms.
- Architect, implement, and evolve automation frameworks for backend, API, functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test reliability, speed, scalability, and maintainability.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers and SDETs on test automation, architecture, and quality practices.
- Partner with engineering, product, and platform teams and influence quality-risk and technical decisions.
- Define and oversee performance, scalability, resiliency, and reliability testing.
- Support production readiness through observability, monitoring, and post-release quality metrics.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering.
- 3–5+ years of experience in a senior, principal, or architect role.
- Proven expertise in test automation architecture and implementation.
- Strong product development experience and hands-on validation of complex systems.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with API and backend testing.
- Exposure to GenAI or AI-driven testing approaches.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience driving quality for enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.
- Preferred experience in IoT, cellular, telecom, or network analytics domains.
- Preferred experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
