Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and scale Java-based automation frameworks for UI and server-side components.
- Develop production-grade Java libraries, utilities, execution engines, and dynamic test scenarios.
- Build automated UI, microservice, REST API, and database validation suites.
- Implement BDD and TDD practices, including translating Gherkin feature files into Java step definitions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams during planning and grooming to define automation requirements and application testability hooks.
- Integrate AI and machine learning utilities for self-healing scripts, visual regression, predictive analytics, and test coverage optimization.
- Analyze execution failures and debug Java runtime, multithreading, environment, and infrastructure issues.
- Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines for parallelized automated test execution.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering and test automation experience.
- Advanced daily experience developing with Core Java, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, collections, exception handling, streams, lambdas, concurrency, multithreading, and memory management.
- Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG or JUnit 5, Cucumber-JVM, and API testing frameworks.
- Experience with REST Assured, HTTPClient, WireMock, JDBC/SQL, and NoSQL queries.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle for Java build and dependency management.
- Experience using IntelliJ IDEA for Java development, debugging, profiling, and refactoring.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or comparable AI coding assistants for automation development.
- Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Tekton.
- Experience running automated regression tests with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, code reviews, SonarQube, SpotBugs, and pull request processes.
- Working familiarity with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical hands-on software development experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
