Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Monitor and support the full application development lifecycle, including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Build scalable quality engineering and automation solutions for complex applications and architectures.
- Develop service-level, UI, API, and continuous test automation using Java and Python.
- Create test plans, test strategies, automation frameworks, and BDD implementations.
- Automate complex multi-tier applications with dynamic upstream and downstream data flows.
- Collaborate with global business analyst, development, and QA teams on test planning, design, and execution.
- Establish continuous test execution and feedback loops to improve automation scripts and test quality.
- Mentor junior resources and provide guidance on automation implementations.
- Advise senior stakeholders and technology teams while assessing and escalating risk and control issues.
- Manage projects independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a Scrum or Agile engineering environment, preferably in financial services and trading platforms.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on programming and implementation experience with Core Java and Python.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns, SQL, NoSQL databases, data patterns, and data validation.
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch and implementing BDD frameworks.
- Strong experience with Selenium and API automation.
- Proven success automating systems with complex architectures.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines in private or public cloud platforms.
- Experience automating complex applications with multi-tier architecture and dynamic data flows.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and manage a small team is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, assess risk, and operate with limited supervision.
