Responsibilities
- Own full-stack features from component design and backend services through deployment and production operation
- Instrument client-side performance and backend observability, including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and dashboards
- Partner with product managers, designers, and developers to build, test, and release elastic.co features
- Write maintainable production code and participate in team code reviews
- Investigate, remediate, validate, and coordinate disclosure of security vulnerabilities
- Diagnose production issues across client and backend systems and participate in an on-call rotation
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack or frontend engineering experience
- Proven depth in TypeScript and React, including component architecture, performance, and state management
- Hands-on experience building, deploying, debugging, and maintaining production backend services with Node.js, Python, or Go
- End-to-end ownership of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or an equivalent
- Experience with front-end build tooling, bundle optimization, and deployment automation
- Experience building highly available and scalable production systems
- Experience writing secure code, identifying vulnerabilities, and resolving security issues
- Experience using AI to accelerate development, debug systems, and optimize code while retaining ownership of outcomes
- Ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed team
