Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize Fleetio’s marketing website and high-converting landing pages and funnels.
- Develop user-facing web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, rendering strategies, state management, and front-end performance techniques.
- Implement and customize headless CMS integrations for front-end applications.
- Improve web performance, SEO, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and conversion rates using browser tooling and real-world metrics.
- Plan projects end-to-end, including technical scoping, estimation, task breakdown, and delivery.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews, mentor developers, and support collaborative development workflows.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Product, MOPs, Sales, Engineering, Content, and Brand teams.
- Configure and troubleshoot Webpack build pipelines, loaders, and plugins.
- Use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to map events, analyze data, and connect SEO insights to website improvements.
- Attribute MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline impact to web development work.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional web development experience; B2B SaaS experience is preferred.
- Extensive experience building user-facing web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Next.js, including dynamic routing, data-fetching patterns, SSR, SSG, ISR, and CSR.
- Strong proficiency with modern CSS and styling approaches, including utility-first frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
- Experience building and customizing headless CMS solutions and integrating them with front-end applications; Sanity and GROQ familiarity is a plus.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience improving web performance, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and conversion rates.
- Experience with Webpack configuration, loaders, plugins, and build pipeline troubleshooting.
- Experience planning projects through technical scoping, estimation, and task breakdown.
- Strong experience with Git and collaborative code-review workflows.
- Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and deliver complex projects while aligning technical decisions with business goals.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, event tracking, data analysis, and Google Search Console.
- Ability to apply marketing goals and metrics to web builds and measure MQL, SQL, and pipeline impact.
- Interest in staying current with emerging front-end tools, frameworks, and best practices.
