Responsibilities
- Lead investigations and engineering solutions for emergent issues.
- Acquire a broad and deep understanding of Pure Storage's full software stack.
- Develop services and AI tools to diagnose and protect our growing fleet.
- Design next generation analytics to monitor fleet health and anticipate new problems.
- Represent customers in presenting complex product issues and developing solutions.
- Engage with customers to enable million dollar deals.
- Participate in on-call rotation to respond to customer outages and improve uptime.
Requirements
- Solid background in software development with experience in Linux, system administration, networking, and storage.
- Natural curiosity and obsessive attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and communicate effectively.
- Experience in SRE with large production environments is preferred.
- 8-12+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, C++, and Linux.
