Responsibilities
- Design and implement next-generation browser-based tools for operating trading infrastructure.
- Build elegant, highly usable interfaces for expert users.
- Create libraries and abstractions for common interaction patterns.
- Improve development practices and the firm-wide approach to UI development.
- Contribute across front ends, back ends, middleware, and databases.
- Work closely with traders and other end users to understand their needs.
Requirements
- Strong background in web technologies, including CSS, the DOM, and browser fundamentals.
- Understanding of UI framework principles such as Vue, Angular, React, and Flutter.
- Practical experience building sophisticated browser-based user interfaces.
- Interest in and appreciation for typed functional programming in UI construction.
- Experience with Elm, ReasonML, PureScript, and TypeScript is a plus; OCaml experience is not required.
- Fluency in English is required.
