Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI-forward APIs, Model Context Protocol services, and platform services.
- Develop reusable, high-quality code for services and features.
- Lead feature development from concept through launch.
- Break down large work items, estimate tasks, and contribute to design documentation.
- Serve as a designated responsible individual for on-call monitoring and simple service restoration.
- Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud background-check and applicable customer or government security-screening requirements.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 10+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
- Preferred: experience shipping complex enterprise-scale software with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Preferred: proficiency in a back-end programming language such as Node.js, C#, or Java.
- Preferred: experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
