Responsibilities
- Lead verification and validation of avionics embedded software.
- Develop and drive common test architectures, environments, strategies, tools, processes, and test design automation.
- Use debuggers, simulators, and structural coverage tools including VectorCover, LDRA, TCA, CodeTest, and TRACE 32.
- Apply DO-178B/C and related supplements, verification methods, TSO certification practices, and design assurance guidelines.
- Manage stakeholders within and outside the organization and propose technical improvements.
- Drive VPD ideas and RDE reduction initiatives.
- Support change impact analysis, tool qualification, TRR, RFS, certification documentation, and SOI#3 audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, ECE, CS, or EEE.
- At least 6 years of experience in software development, systems, or software verification, including a minimum of 2 years in software verification and validation.
- Strong knowledge of C, C++, Python, embedded programming, model-based testing, and software verification processes.
- Deep understanding of DO-178B/C, supplements, TSO certification, and current industry verification standards and tools.
- Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and technical decision-making skills.
- Good understanding of aerospace CNS products and product-line business.
- Experience with EGPWS, datalink, Com/Nav radio, global navigation, RF signal, radar, or RADALT technologies is advantageous.
- Experience with change impact analysis, tool qualification, TRR, RFS, certification documents, or SOI#3 audits is a plus.
