Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and clarify business and technical requirements with customers and stakeholders.
- Architect complete, scalable, secure, and user-centric software solutions from requirements through delivery.
- Develop and implement advanced application features with maintainable, high-quality code.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold software quality and coding standards.
- Test, deploy, and release solutions while ensuring reliability, performance, and data quality.
- Lead customer and support-team handover meetings and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Guide, review, mentor, and coach other engineers, including supporting junior engineers' development.
- Coordinate team work, deliver sprint outputs, and provide direction on non-routine or escalated issues.
- Research technical challenges and propose application optimizations and enhancements.
- Follow company policies, quality standards, compliance requirements, and cybersecurity expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or application development.
- Strong expertise in software engineering, solution architecture, programming languages, databases, and system architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle from requirements and architecture through development, testing, release, and support.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
- Experience with version control, code reviews, and testing practices.
- Ability to lead, guide, mentor, and review the work of other engineers.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into logical technical solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural, international teams and independently manage priorities and deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Basic commercial and operational understanding of how software solutions support business goals and customer needs.
