Responsibilities
- Own Android product features end-to-end, from discovery and technical design through implementation, rollout, and iteration.
- Drive technical decisions with Product, Design, and Backend while balancing user experience, performance, security, and delivery timelines.
- Improve application architecture, performance, reliability, maintainability, and testing strategy.
- Address complex mobile challenges including real-time synchronization, resilience patterns, and navigation in a modular codebase.
- Lead code reviews and technical discussions, share engineering patterns, and mentor peers.
Requirements
- Strong native Android experience shipping and maintaining production features with Kotlin.
- Ability to own technical decisions end-to-end and solve complex, ambiguous problems with robust solutions.
- Commitment to testing, including unit, UI, and snapshot testing, as well as clean code and pragmatic engineering standards.
- Daily use of AI coding tools to increase engineering effectiveness.
- Fluent English and strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience contributing through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
