Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evolve scalable Android applications using modern architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
- Drive adoption of Jetpack Compose for declarative and responsive user interfaces.
- Own application modularization, code quality, testing, performance optimization, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver user-centric features.
- Manage the delivery pipeline, including testing, release management, monitoring, logging, and performance tracking.
- Document architecture decisions, features, and technical processes.
- Introduce improvements to the codebase, tooling, and development processes while staying current with Android technologies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Android development with strong Kotlin expertise.
- Deep understanding of the Android SDK and modern Android development practices.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow, Hilt or Dagger, and Retrofit or OkHttp.
- Strong knowledge of clean architecture, design patterns, and modularization.
- Experience with JUnit, Espresso, MockK, and writing maintainable, testable code.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
- Ability to independently own complex projects and deliver high-quality results.
- Strong focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.
