Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, deploying, and maintaining MCP servers, agentic infrastructure, and AI observability capabilities for the software development life cycle.
- Audit, upgrade, and test GitHub Actions dependencies and convert legacy pipeline steps into reusable workflow templates.
- Write and refactor Terraform modules for Artifactory repositories, RBAC policies, lifecycle rules, and cloud infrastructure.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve internal developer support tickets involving GitHub, Artifactory, and CI/CD workflows while maintaining team SLAs.
- Evaluate and implement GenAI tools and agent frameworks to automate engineering workflows and build backend services.
- Help implement compliance tagging, Secret Push Protection, and security guardrails against prompt injection and malicious package dependencies.
- Create README files, starter repositories, and technical documentation for secure pipeline patterns and AI tool integrations.
- Participate in daily standups, engineering design sessions, and collaboration across distributed teams.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Foundational proficiency in Python or another modern programming or scripting language such as Bash, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Go.
- Hands-on experience using GitHub and command-line Git workflows through coursework, personal projects, or open-source contributions.
- Understanding of networking concepts, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, request/response flows, technical troubleshooting, error logs, and debugging.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented approach to supporting internal developers.
- Curiosity, initiative, resourcefulness, and willingness to independently research and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Preferred exposure to AWS, Azure, networking, Docker, container registries, or AWS services such as S3, EC2, and Lambda.
- Preferred familiarity with GitHub Actions, YAML configuration, ARC runner scaling, Terraform, GenAI tools, LLM APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Cursor, Augment, or Claude.
- Preferred awareness of npm, PyPI, Maven, NuGet, JFrog Artifactory, software supply chain security, secret push protection, dependency scanning, or AI security guardrails.
- Prior ticketing system, customer support, peer tutoring, or IT helpdesk experience is preferred.
