Responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch tooling for SIL-4 code classification and review.
- Develop web-based applications and reports to display safety posture.
- Maintain and improve the Bazel build system for reliability and speed.
- Enhance developer workflows for C++, Python, and Go languages.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve the CI system using AWS and Buildkite.
- Develop automation tools for developer workflows like change submission and testing.
- Implement monitoring services for internal processes and systems.
- Participate in support and on-call rotation for shared developer infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience in regulated or safety-critical software development.
- Familiarity with functional safety standards like EN 50128 or IEC 61508.
- Understanding of certification evidence requirements such as traceability.
- Experience with static analysis and coding-standard enforcement tools.
- Strong knowledge of build systems and software development tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and experience with Buildkite.
- Basic front-end web development skills for internal tools.
- Experience in Python or Go for tool and service development.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms.
