Base Salary
$209k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver machine learning models and components for business problems.
- Build and scale multi-tenant platforms for large-scale ML model training and serving.
- Make ML infrastructure decisions using knowledge of modeling, data and feature selection, training, tuning, validation, and model performance.
- Write and test application code, develop and validate ML models, and automate tests and deployment.
- Build, retrain, maintain, monitor, and govern production ML models and services.
- Develop cloud-based architectures and optimized data pipelines for ML systems.
- Apply testing, deployment, monitoring, vulnerability-reduction, responsible AI, and explainable AI practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and cross-functional Agile teams on big data and ML applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of programming experience with Python, Java, Golang, or C++.
- At least 6 years of machine learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- At least 6 years of experience operating large-scale distributed systems such as Spark and Ray for AI or ML data preparation.
- At least 4 years of experience deploying and operating ML solutions in production, cloud production services, and Kubernetes-managed containerized ML systems.
- Preferred: Master's or doctoral degree in a related field and 4–5+ years of experience in ML optimization, software development practices, resilient production systems, ML techniques and architectures, production data pipelines, and recognized ML frameworks such as Dask or XGBoost.
- Preferred: ML industry impact through conference presentations, papers, blog posts, open-source contributions, or patents.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and machine learning concepts clearly to varied audiences.
