Responsibilities
- Maintain application uptime and performance, manage system enhancements and defects, oversee daily operational activities, and drive continuous improvement.
- Modify and support code using Python, React, GraphQL, and REST APIs while troubleshooting platform and infrastructure issues.
- Design and maintain AWS infrastructure and services, including containerized and serverless workloads.
- Automate development and operational processes using scripting, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD tools.
- Provide L2 DevOps/SRE production support, including issue resolution, user-access fixes, and report-related fixes.
- Manage incident, change, problem, CAPA, and broader IT service management processes in accordance with ITIL practices.
- Monitor systems using Splunk and Grafana and support reliability engineering practices such as SLIs, SLOs, and incident response.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA, business stakeholders, vendors, and service-management teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5–10 years of experience in software development lifecycle or Agile methodology environments.
- Strong experience in software engineering, SRE, DevOps, or production support roles.
- Solid understanding of reliability engineering principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and incident response.
- Hands-on experience with system integration, production/application support, automation, and CI/CD.
- Experience with AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, monitoring tools, and scripting languages.
- Strong ITSM and ITIL experience covering service, incident, change, problem, and CAPA management.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, code quality, troubleshooting, ServiceNow, and JIRA.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, vendor-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
