Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support, scale, secure, and redefine Roblox’s development cycle across source control, code search, artifact creation and distribution, and local and remote development infrastructure.
- Build local development tools, internal web applications, microservices, reusable CI workflows, productivity metrics toolchains, and integrations across first- and third-party tools.
- Collaborate across Roblox engineering teams to improve the productivity and user experience of source, CI, and build tools.
- Participate in the end-to-end development, launch, and support of engineering tools and systems used at scale.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience delivering and supporting a tool or system used by hundreds of developers at scale.
- Knowledge of source control, artifact management, CI tools, and infrastructure.
- Experience with common cloud and orchestration technologies.
- Fluency in at least one common programming language, such as Python, Go, or C#.
- Strong customer focus, communication, and collaboration skills.
- GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory experience are preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and the HashiCorp stack, including Terraform and Vault, is preferred.
Benefits
- Annual base salary range of $196,750–$243,290 USD for roles based at the San Mateo, California headquarters.
- Full-time employees are eligible for equity compensation and benefits.
- Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence Monday and Friday unless otherwise noted.
- Roblox may have limitations on employment for candidates whose U.S. work authorization involves certain visa categories and may not support future H-1B sponsorship for this role.
