Responsibilities
- Engage in the full service lifecycle from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Support service launches through system design consulting, software platform and framework development, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
- Maintain live services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Scale systems sustainably through automation and drive changes that improve reliability and engineering velocity.
- Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 4 years of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership.
- 3 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Preferred: Experience with large-scale distributed systems, generative AI agents and machine learning, and Trust and Safety operations.
