Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-augmented cloud developer platforms and hybrid development workflows.
- Write structured prompts and communicate system context to improve AI agent capabilities.
- Evaluate and validate AI-generated code, designs, and documentation for security, performance, and architectural compliance.
- Build scalable remote development environments and intelligent CI/CD frameworks on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Develop and secure AI-driven developer productivity tools using Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Promote AI tool adoption and help engineers use AI capabilities for software development and issue remediation.
- Maintain software quality through code reviews, testing, and automation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience focused on developer tools or platforms.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript; Bash familiarity is a plus.
- Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including services such as EC2 and S3.
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and their integration with cloud development platforms.
- Understanding of developer workflows, build processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of secure software practices and performance tuning for distributed systems is preferred.
- Experience with Scrum or Kanban, strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to clean, maintainable, documented code are preferred.
- Open-source or personal coding project contributions are a plus.

- The stated base salary is $117,200-$176,700 annually, or $141,200-$194,200 annually in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area locations.
