Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and enhance custom software solutions and application components.
- Work with Apache Kafka for event streaming, real-time data processing, and distributed messaging.
- Integrate Kafka with data sources and sinks and troubleshoot or optimize Kafka clusters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Document software design and development processes.
- Participate independently as a subject matter expert and contribute to team problem-solving.
- Guide junior team members and share software development best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of total experience is required.
- At least 3 years of experience with Apache Kafka is required.
- Proficiency in Apache Kafka, event streaming, and real-time data processing architectures.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and message queuing concepts.
- Familiarity with integrating Apache Kafka with data sources and sinks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Kafka clusters for performance and reliability.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
