Base Salary
$127k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
- Translate customer requirements into initial software product designs.
- Lead junior engineers in software development.
- Develop software interface definitions.
- Perform unit and integration testing and support software system integration and test.
- Participate in peer reviews and create software documentation.
- Work with various software programming languages.
- Collaborate across multiple contracts and programs in a customer-focused, process-improvement environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship, as required by the U.S. Government.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of C++ experience.
- At least 1 year of MATLAB experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with Agile software development lifecycle practices.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant Bachelor of Science degree with 5+ or 9+ years of related experience, or equivalent directly related experience for Level 3 or Level 4 placement.
- Familiarity with physics-based modeling software packages and relevant physics domains is preferred.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices, including Git, GitLab, or CMake, is preferred.
- Experience with Linux, Windows, real-time software development, MATLAB Coder, and Java is preferred.
- Applicants must meet U.S. export control requirements, complete a CodeVue technical assessment, satisfy the conflict-of-interest process, and be eligible to work without visa sponsorship.
