Base Salary
$58k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with full-stack software architecture and implementation for missile-system applications.
- Develop modular, reusable, portable, and maintainable software frameworks and products.
- Participate in technical, design, and code reviews and support software quality and coding standards.
- Support technical decisions involving tools, frameworks, and development approaches.
- Support flight-test operations and post-test analysis.
- Develop software compliant with military and aviation safety, cybersecurity, and RMF standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
- Demonstrable experience with C/C++ and experience with Python and Java.
- Understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles.
- Experience with software configuration management, software quality engineering concepts, and software standards and practices.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded missile, aerospace, weapons, or real-time embedded systems experience; MOSA knowledge; containerization and microservices experience; guidance, navigation, mission planning, or sensor knowledge; MATLAB/Simulink proficiency; and hardware-software integration experience.
