Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize firmware for next-generation flash controllers.
- Implement new controller firmware functions and specialize in a hardware-specific firmware area.
- Develop and realize concepts for performance optimization and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with the test team on comprehensive firmware verification and validation.
- Support firmware release stabilization, including analysis of test results.
Requirements
- Completed engineering degree in computer science or a related field, such as a B.Sc. or M.Sc., or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in embedded software development is advantageous; career starters are welcome.
- Very good knowledge of C.
- Experience with microprocessors, embedded software architectures, compilers, and embedded software development tools.
- Knowledge of the Linux kernel, particularly block devices and file systems, is advantageous.
- Experience with storage-device host interfaces such as PCIe/NVMe is advantageous.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Enjoyment of teamwork and an open, collaborative personality.
