Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and support major components of a high-scale basket-building experience serving millions of customers.
- Build and operate low-latency services in a modern AWS-native environment.
- Own features end to end from technical design and implementation through deployment and operational support.
- Partner with product managers, scientists, designers, and engineers to shape product direction and translate ambiguous customer problems into measurable solutions.
- Influence technical direction and engineering practices through design discussions, code reviews, experimentation, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with partner teams across Europe, the US, and other regions.
- Mentor more junior team members and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements
- Professional, non-internship experience in software development.
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
