Base Salary
$190k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build the AI layer supporting autonomous detection, RAG-backed investigation, and auto-remediation workflows.
- Develop and productionize large-scale LLMs, graph-based reasoning engines, and streaming feature pipelines handling billions of security events.
- Own AI evaluation and reliability, including prompt libraries, fine-tuning, red-team testing, latency budgets, and fallback strategies.
- Mentor AI engineers, run design reviews, uphold code quality, and promote a security-first engineering culture.
- Partner with Product, Detection Engineering, and Customer Success to translate attacker behavior into ML and rule-based detections.
- Experiment with retrieval-augmented generation, tool-calling agents, and multimodal models using text, logs, and graphs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience building production systems with modern programming languages.
- Deep knowledge of LLM architecture, prompt engineering, and vector database workflows.
- Hands-on experience building agents, orchestration frameworks, and evaluation harnesses.
- Experience with microservices architecture, containerization, event-driven systems, API design, and distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Cybersecurity experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, or MDR is preferred.
- Experience with graph databases or security-focused knowledge graphs is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure security is preferred.
- Experience leading teams in high-growth startups or enterprise SaaS is preferred.
- Relevant AWS/GCP Professional Engineer, Kubernetes, or security-related certifications are a plus.
