Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable custom software solutions.
- Provide technical leadership on architecture, technology choices, design patterns, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and guide technical design and architecture discussions.
- Execute AI integration initiatives involving generative AI, NLP, predictive analytics, and large language models.
- Design and implement automated test scenarios and scalable test automation strategies.
- Build and operate cloud-native SaaS solutions using cloud infrastructure, containers, event-driven architecture, and infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate with product management, architecture, and global cross-functional teams.
- Conduct root cause analyses and implement continuous-improvement practices to improve code quality, productivity, and system reliability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required; the qualifications section specifies 8+ years in software development and testing.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud-native SaaS applications is specified in the qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience with C#, Java, Go, object-oriented programming, software design patterns, RESTful and OpenAPI development, and database technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm.
- Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture using technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar, or SNS/SQS.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or TestNG, integrated with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing platforms.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular is a strong plus.
- Experience designing and delivering AI solutions, particularly generative AI and large language model solutions, is required or strongly relevant; AI/ML initiatives or certifications are a strong plus.
- Understanding of security best practices and frameworks; knowledge of Snyk is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills across time zones.
