Responsibilities
- Lead the development and hands-on delivery of scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.
- Act as a technical escalation point during and outside office hours and participate in on-call and incident response activities.
- Apply governance to solution design and code quality and maintain understanding of system architecture and technical structure.
- Guide a small team of developers through solution design and development.
- Mentor team members, promote knowledge sharing, and support pairing and code reviews.
- Manage work estimation and produce solution documentation.
- Ensure technical solutions meet business needs and maintain reliable software delivery.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, or React.
- Proven experience building highly scalable systems, preferably in the cloud.
- Proficiency developing customer-centric front-end solutions.
- Exposure to NoSQL datastores.
- Leadership experience within development teams and technical project delivery.
- Strong technical leadership, mentorship, technical documentation, and code review capabilities.
- Deep understanding of large-scale, highly available, multiuser, service-based systems.
- Familiarity with on-call rotations and incident response.
- Experience with GCP is valued.
