Base Salary
$62k - $99k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications, REST APIs, and microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build and support cloud-native solutions deployed on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop event-driven integrations and distributed systems using Apache Kafka.
- Create and optimize backend services and data-driven applications using SQL.
- Use Codex, Claude, and similar Generative AI tools for coding, refactoring, testing, debugging, documentation, and productivity improvements.
- Design, build, and integrate AI agents into AIDLC workflows across requirements analysis, development, testing, code review, documentation, and delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams on scalable, secure, high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Apache Kafka, and SQL for cloud-ready, event-driven, and data-driven backend solutions.
- Hands-on Codex experience is mandatory, including use for code generation, refactoring, unit testing, debugging, documentation, and SDLC acceleration.
- Ability to design, build, and integrate AI agents into AIDLC workflows.
- Working knowledge of Claude or similar LLM-based development tools, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, API/tool integration, and responsible enterprise GenAI use.
- Ability to work collaboratively with architects, product owners, and engineering teams.
