Responsibilities
- Define SWHW test strategies and plans with JDM partners.
- Design test cases and develop automated tests and test environments for continuous testing and nightly builds.
- Review software implementations and source code, identify quality issues and risks, and improve system testing.
- Verify product features, compatibility, performance, soak, robustness, and stability.
- Analyze test results, prepare test summary reports, and participate in project and scrum meetings throughout development and testing.
Requirements
- More than four years of relevant software quality or software testing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field.
- Competency in at least one of Python, C, or C++.
- Experience with robotics, sensors, vision systems, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and RTOS operating systems.
- Experience with test management systems and tools including Jira, Confluence, Stash, Git, and Bamboo.
- Understanding of electronics hardware and its interfaces with software systems, plus knowledge of embedded, app, and cloud software in IoT products.
- Experience with Agile software development or DevOps, and collaboration with JDM/ODM partners in China.
- Fluent English and Mandarin, with strong communication, attention to detail, and independent working skills.
