Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated API tests using Postman, Java, and the Karate framework.
- Perform virtual ATM transaction testing and manual testing on physical ATMs in the lab.
- Validate APIs through backend applications and analyze logs with LogScale, Dynatrace, and related tools.
- Create, execute, document, and track test cases and defects in Jira.
- Develop test strategies and test summary reports that meet PNC compliance standards.
- Evaluate transactional screen flows and provide feedback on usability and customer experience.
- Support the Virtual ATM Lead by developing test cases and maturing automated tests using JavaScript.
- Provide backup Test Lead support and assume Test Lead duties as needed.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience as an API tester with API test execution and defect management.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience is typically required.
- Bachelor’s degree, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered.
- Experience with test documentation, test strategy development, project support, and API troubleshooting using logging applications.
- Expertise with JavaScript, Java, Postman, and the Karate framework is preferred.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes, defect lifecycle management, manual testing, release management, and software troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.

- This is an in-office position based at a PNC ATM lab in Pittsburgh, PA, five days per week, with potential overtime.
