Responsibilities
- Drive complex system design in collaboration with the architecture team.
- Perform code reviews and mentor the development team on best practices.
- Make key design and technical implementations for complex systems.
- Define requirements with stakeholders and develop scalable microservices APIs.
- Design, build, and maintain sustainable systems for business applications.
- Improve processes and evangelize best practices within the team.
- Contribute to compliance initiatives and maintain technical design.
- Handle PHI in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- BS degree in computer science or a comparable program.
- 7+ years of software development experience, preferably in secure web applications.
- Experience with Java and open-source frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Experience in front-end development with React, Sass, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Knowledge of Ruby and RoR frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with micro-service architecture and cross-platform integration.
- Strong relational database skills, including design and optimization.
- Demonstrated teamwork and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
