Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate Docker and Kubernetes container platforms, including deployments, scaling, and lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain Linux-based CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment.
- Manage Artifactory repositories, artifact promotion, retention, and access controls.
- Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Support MySQL and Kafka in production, including configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and backup or restore activities.
- Implement capacity planning, patching, configuration management, and infrastructure standardization.
- Improve logging, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerting, and incident response using observability tools.
- Configure and support load balancers and traffic management patterns, including routing, health checks, TLS termination, and failover.
- Support high availability, disaster recovery readiness, resiliency planning, runbooks, testing, and failure exercises.
- Automate environment provisioning, deployments, validation, remediation, and reporting while collaborating with application, security, and infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Strong experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes, including workloads, configurations, secrets, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Artifactory repository management and artifact promotion practices.
- Solid Linux fundamentals, including system troubleshooting, processes, networking basics, and scripting.
- Experience delivering CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Hands-on Terraform experience with modules, state, remote backends, and environments.
- Working experience with MySQL and Kafka in operational or production environments.
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar observability and telemetry tools.
- Understanding of load balancing and production operational support.
- Practical experience with high availability, sustained operations, and disaster recovery or resiliency planning and testing.
- Preferred: experience with service mesh, ingress controllers, Kubernetes policy controls, secrets management, SBOM, signing, scanning, regulated environments, change and release controls, incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.
- Preferred: experience with the SecuriThings device management platform.
- Preferred: relevant Kubernetes or Docker certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, or Docker certifications.
