Base Salary
$180k - $440k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable real-time content moderation, risk detection, and safeguard enforcement systems for image, video, and audio generation.
- Build infrastructure to measure, monitor, and mitigate harmful content, bias, deepfakes, intellectual property issues, and misuse at global scale.
- Develop tools, pipelines, and evaluation frameworks for rapid safety-policy iteration.
- Architect feedback loops among user interactions, model outputs, and training data to improve safety, performance, and latency.
- Own safety features from problem definition and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, incident response, and long-term refinement.
- Partner with engineering, research, product, and policy teams to embed safety into core features.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Rust and a track record of writing clean, efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Experience building production safety, trust and safety, or content moderation systems for consumer-facing products at scale.
- Hands-on experience developing real-time detection systems, data pipelines, or evaluation frameworks for high-throughput AI applications.
- Ability to deliver reliable solutions serving millions of users while maintaining uptime and performance.
- Preferred experience with multimodal content safety, generative AI safety, machine learning classifiers, safety evaluation, red-teaming, or adversarial testing.
- Preferred background in distributed systems, real-time inference serving, Kubernetes, observability tools, or large-scale data infrastructure.
- Experience collaborating across engineering, research, product, and policy teams is preferred.
