Responsibilities
- Develop new application requirements and coordinate internal and external experts and developers.
- Own applications and services end to end across the software development lifecycle.
- Coordinate software release alignment and rollouts.
- Support stable operations through active system monitoring and ticket processing.
- Occasionally lead software development projects, including solution design, effort estimation, and documentation.
- Ensure application designs align with the company’s overall IT architecture.
- Act as a contact for project managers and business-area stakeholders.
Requirements
- Completed education in informatics, business informatics, or a comparable field, such as HTL, university of applied sciences, or university education.
- Several years of professional experience in software engineering or a comparable role are desirable.
- Strong Java programming skills, ideally including Spring and/or Java EE.
- Experience with modern web development, including HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, JSF, or Angular.
- Excellent database and SQL knowledge, ideally including Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Project management knowledge and practical experience in agile project teams are desirable.
- Interest in AI-driven development using agentic coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot in a controlled environment.
- Moderate willingness to travel internationally.
- Strong written and spoken German and English skills at C1 level.
- Openness to international teamwork, willingness to learn, structured and solution-oriented work, resilience, and initiative.

- Salary range of €3,295 to €4,446 gross per month paid 14 times annually, with potential overpayment based on experience.
