Responsibilities
- Lead development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive security strategies and solutions.
- Design and deploy identity security controls that protect networks, systems, and applications.
- Shape security services strategy and execution across disciplines.
- Set and uphold security process standards supporting high-quality engineering.
- Mentor and motivate new engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of software or security engineering experience in cloud-native environments.
- Deep knowledge of AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID, or GCP IAM, including least-privilege roles, RBAC/ABAC, and permission policies.
- Proficiency with SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP/Directory Services, user lifecycle automation, SSO, MFA, and JIT access.
- Hands-on proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation and Python or PowerShell for identity automation.
- Practical experience managing service accounts, API keys, bots, and automated workload identities.
- Preferred experience includes large-scale distributed systems, AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD pipelines, server-side technologies, health-tech systems, and technical decision-making.
- Preferred AI/ML security experience includes Gemini, Claude, AWS Bedrock, AI threat modeling, and permission guardrails for AI agents.
- Familiarity with SPIFFE/SPIRE, zero-trust architectures, containerized identity frameworks, VPC flow logs, and security analytics tools.
- Experience with CrowdStrike, Sumo Logic, Wiz, or Zscaler is preferred.
- Experience with EHRs, clinical data, HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, OSCP, CEH, CAISS, or GMSE.
