Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own engineering problems end-to-end from customer insight and product requirements through research and infrastructure.
- Maintain close feedback loops with customers and the founding team while shipping features quickly and iteratively.
- Help define the engineering team’s culture, patterns, and best practices.
- Explore and improve how engineering teams work alongside AI agents.
- Build full-stack, customer-facing products involving agentic systems and large language models.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience on engineering teams, including at least one stint longer than 18 months in a strong startup or scale-up environment.
- Full-stack proficiency spanning customer-facing UI through infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with React, Python, Terraform, and AWS.
- Experience building agentic systems or working with LLMs in production.
- Strong product sense and design instincts, with the ability to translate customer needs into shippable features.
- Startup experience or self-driven personal projects demonstrating initiative and high agency.
- US citizenship or US work authorization; the posting states no visa sponsorship for candidates outside the US.
- Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of experience, scientific or academic research experience, direct customer-facing technical experience, and enthusiasm for AI-powered coding and productivity tools.
Benefits
- $150,000–$250,000 USD annual salary depending on experience.
