*Senior Backend Engineer - Collection Engineering
SentinelOneResponsibilities
- Build and deliver backend systems and new modules for SentinelOne’s cloud-based security platform.
- Design solution architectures according to product requirements and implement projects from inception through deployment.
- Develop high-performance microservices, cloud-native solutions, and data pipelines deployed across millions of endpoints and servers.
- Work across product lines supporting remote operations, EDR, and XDR initiatives.
- Develop unit and component tests as part of the software development process.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary backend, frontend, and endpoint technology teams and lead projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend development experience.
- Experience with high-performance, microservices-based backend systems.
- Proficiency in Python or Go for backend development.
- Experience developing cloud-native solutions and data pipelines.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or another cloud platform.
- Strong solution design skills and the ability to work effectively in hybrid or remote teams.
- Proven experience developing unit and component tests.
- Preferred experience with the Kafka ecosystem, large-scale management systems, Terraform, Terragrunt, Rust, C++, Java, or C#.
