Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Front Office teams to define testing scope, strategy, and business requirements.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases aligned with business and functional requirements.
- Execute SIT, UAT, regression, and automation testing cycles and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Coordinate upstream and downstream application dependencies to achieve complete end-to-end test coverage.
- Manage daily testing activities, delivery timelines, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
- Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and issue resolution with QA, development, and business teams.
- Drive stakeholder communication, governance, progress updates, project discussions, and status reporting.
- Support integration testing across trading platforms, market data systems, risk engines, and downstream applications.
- Partner with Product Owners to refine backlog items, prioritize deliverables, and create testing plans.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to test strategy, process improvements, and quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of QA or Test Management experience in Capital Markets.
- Strong functional and technical Murex expertise, including Front Office testing of trade capture, pricing, risk, and settlements.
- Understanding of financial products including IRD, FX, Fixed Income, and Commodities.
- Experience with end-to-end integration testing across trading systems, market data platforms, risk systems, and downstream applications.
- Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle processes, workflows, operations, fixings, and confirmations.
- Hands-on experience with Murex modules including MXTest, MxML Exchange, Datamart, and workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, data-driven quality assurance, and defect management skills.
- Ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies while communicating clearly with stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, including experience in Agile or Tribe-based delivery models.
