Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain software components and applications.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate with related systems.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, validating outputs through review and testing.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementations meet design constraints.
- Analyze, synthesize, visualize, and report on large and diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies is preferred.
- AWS certification, such as Solutions Architect or Developer certification, is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.
