Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable systems for real-time processing and multimodal AI integration.
- Build core software components powering visual understanding across Alexa devices.
- Develop large-scale distributed, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or service-oriented systems.
- Make architectural decisions involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Collaborate with engineering, ML science, and product teams to deliver end-to-end customer experiences.
- Work across the software development lifecycle, including coding, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 3+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
- Experience using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
