Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end development of scalable services powering Luna’s streaming infrastructure.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts, iterate on prototypes, and ship production-grade software while balancing cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Design, implement, test, and operate consumer-facing software features.
  • Work with low-level Windows and Linux systems, Wine, Proton, and streaming technologies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, QA, and teams across Amazon.
  • Provide technical leadership through design decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and adoption of best practices.
  • Offer strategic input on product and implementation direction.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
