Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build greenfield solutions and scalable platforms using native AWS services and frameworks.
- Design and develop reliable, scalable, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
- Solve large-scale business problems and enable AWS to bring new products and services to market quickly.
- Collaborate with multiple teams in an agile environment while applying strong analytical and communication skills.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities including coding, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
