Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build highly available and performant ML platform services that support rapid model iteration and experimentation.
- Evolve model-serving and feature-delivery infrastructure for continuous experimentation and new ML capabilities.
- Design and scale training pipelines, real-time inference systems, and feature stores for Prime Video personalization.
- Partner with scientists, product managers, and engineering stakeholders to productionize research breakthroughs.
- Own services, influence technical strategy, mentor engineers, and drive engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
