Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and ensure engineers build scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
- Develop and execute technical strategy and roadmaps with senior leadership and product owners.
- Lead cross-team, mission-critical projects addressing complex business problems.
- Own the architecture plan, design patterns, and simplification of the system landscape.
- Diagnose and proactively address critical system issues.
- Recruit, mentor, and coach senior engineers and support a high-performance organization.
- Define, measure, and report system and operational metrics.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience building B2C-scale products, preferably with Java and AWS.
- 7+ years of experience in technical leadership, including organization- or business-unit-level technical vision and execution.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and delivering scalable, highly available products and services.
- Strong expertise in Java development, system and data architecture, distributed computing and storage, messaging services, caching, and performance tuning.
- Experience collaborating across globally distributed teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a data-driven, business-focused approach.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ecommerce or food delivery product development experience is a plus.
