Base Salary
$219k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-grade data pipelines with dbt Cloud
- Work with sales to communicate the technical value of the dbt Labs product suite
- Guide customers through proof-of-concept implementations and dbt Cloud trials
- Partner with engineering to deploy dbt Cloud in private clouds for enterprise clients
- Own the customer lifecycle from presale evaluation through product adoption and expansion
- Partner with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap
- Build relationships with partners including Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks and enable their client implementations
- Participate actively in the dbt community
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting within data operations, analytics, or business intelligence
- Strong technical background in SQL, ETL, and data modeling
- Understanding of modern data warehousing architectures and ability to translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions
- Strong verbal, written, and in-person communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment and contribute as an inclusive community member
- Experience with analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software is preferred
- Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt is preferred
- Experience with dimensional, data vault, Kimball, or 3NF data modeling methods is preferred
- Experience with Informatica, Boomi, or Talend is preferred
