Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Playwright automation frameworks for web applications.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, UI, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Develop reusable test components and automation libraries.
- Collaborate with development, business analysis, and product teams to define requirements and test strategies.
- Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing capabilities.
- Integrate automation scripts with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Ensure test coverage for new features and enhancements.
- Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics for stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Playwright automation testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience with UI, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on API testing experience.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps defect-tracking tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
