Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test cases.
- Perform manual and automated functional, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and web services testing.
- Develop and implement quality control systems, automation frameworks, and testing tools.
- Create defect reports, track issues through resolution, and communicate meaningful test results and risks to management.
- Identify requirements gaps, testing impediments, and high-risk software areas, and drive their resolution.
- Collaborate with development, business, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and address quality issues.
- Drive testing automation initiatives and support adherence to QA processes, standards, and formal test design techniques.
- Establish collaborative relationships and help manage conflicts, productivity, and talent development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
- 4 to 6 years of software testing experience.
- Strong background in manual and functional QA testing.
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle queries.
- Experience preparing test plans and strategy documents, gathering requirements, and writing test cases.
- Experience with web services, functional, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing.
- Hands-on experience with test automation, frameworks, and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to identify testing challenges, forecast software risks, and communicate effectively with technical and business teams.
- Exposure to security and performance testing is preferred.
- People management skills and the ability to manage conflicts, increase productivity, hire, and grow talent are preferred.
