Responsibilities

  • Build and ship end-to-end features from written requirements through design, implementation, review, and production.
  • Develop across frontend, backend, and data layers, including database schemas and query performance.
  • Use AI coding and testing tools and help incorporate appropriate AI capabilities into the product.
  • Learn and document core product services so system knowledge is shared across the team.
  • Diagnose production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and address automated code-quality findings.
  • Contribute to automated testing strategy and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Product, cross-functional teams, and users across multiple time zones, primarily in writing.
  • Share knowledge and support colleagues as the team grows.

Requirements

  • Professional software engineering experience delivering production code in a modern language.
  • Strong frontend or backend development experience with an interest in becoming capable across the full stack.
  • Experience integrating and consuming APIs in a cloud environment.
  • Practical experience using AI developer tools and judgment about when they are useful.
  • Specific evidence of learning something independently and shipping it.
