Base Salary

$120k - $199k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis, design, development, and Guidewire Policy Center configuration based on system requirements.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, health monitoring, alerting, and implementation for assigned systems.
  • Analyze, assess, and resolve advanced-complexity defects and incidents, escalating issues appropriately.
  • Define technical requirements, consult with users, and coordinate interactions among systems and technical support areas.
  • Work independently on well-scoped and loosely scoped problems while delivering complete solutions in manageable releases.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced employees.

Requirements

  • Four years of programming or software engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • Intermediate delivery skills, including estimation, software design contribution, use-case consideration, automation, and tradeoff negotiation.
  • Demonstrated domain expertise, including in-depth knowledge of immediate systems and some knowledge of adjacent systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to clarify vague requirements and document work clearly.
  • Intermediate leadership skills, self-motivation, and a record of identifying opportunities and tracking team efforts.
