Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly confidential, available, and maintainable payment systems.
- Modify and add features across consumer, merchant, administrative, registration, and payment-data systems.
- Investigate technical issues and contribute to design, development, operation, and technology selection.
- Analyze post-release effectiveness and propose improvements.
- Conduct quality-assurance reviews and identify solutions for stable system operation.
- Support operations for 24/7 service availability.
- Mentor and support junior development team members.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of practical experience developing web applications with Java.
- Basic knowledge of Linux or Unix systems.
- More than 1 year of practical experience developing applications with SQL.
- More than 2 years of experience developing consumer-facing web applications.
- Strong communication, judgment, proposal-making, initiative, and independent-thinking abilities.
- Operational experience with Apache and Tomcat is preferred.
- Experience with Struts and Spring is preferred.
- Experience developing web UIs with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience with public cloud, Kubernetes, and Docker is preferred.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Maven is preferred.
- Knowledge of or interest in payment and financial domains is preferred.
- English proficiency is intermediate overall and Japanese proficiency is advanced overall.
